A masterpiece is an opinion, not fact.

I'd say the entire story isn't a masterpiece but there are certainly masterpieces in Shippuden. Gaara's revival episode is one. Naruto vs Pain as well. But most of the rest are just tropes stolen from Japanese folklore including all of Jaraiya's and Orochimaru's backgrounds, names and powers.

The most masterful thing from this series is how Kishimoto has portrayed the effects of stigmatization in society. How Naruto begged for everyone's attention by any means necessary because of reasons we know too well.

While Sasuke felt the effects of being the brother of a mass murderer.. whom also murdered his friends and other family. And he's also part of the clan which were basically the police. People only cared about him for his looks and skills, but they feared the Uchiha. No one could tell him why his parents and clan had to die and his training was lackluster, Itachi was far stronger than anyone in Konoha, no wonder he was drawn to Orochimaru.That's a good fucking set up right there.

But this anime is filled to the brim with bullshit fillers, side gags and flashbacks, flashbacks and then some more flashbacks. This series could be called flashbackception and I'd know people are talking about Naruto. All of Naruto should be like 140/150 episodes max, then this series would be a masterpiece. The rest are just commercials for merchandise.and a friendly nod to people with alzheimer I guess.

You know this fiasco wouldn't happen if Naruto also keeps his emotions in check. Sakura has her problems sure but she's not the only one. If anything Naruto's not doing his job either at this point of the series

I was referring to his emotions. Jiraya said the trigger is his anger, and naruto is far from composed at any given time. If both him and sakura assessed the situation first before jumping then they could have spared the trouble of friendly fire. Getting away from Orochi is another matter however

That's the whole point of being called a sannin. Medical Ninjas' main job is not on the front line fighting directly but behind it. You do remember what tsunade said to sakura during her training don't you? "If you get hurt then who would heal the rest of the team?" + when I said she can't do much more than healing I meant that at her level now she can't do much more than that. Tho she literally came up with an antidote for Sasori that's already a milestone. I hate the fact that she don't consider this as an achievement. As a biotech student I can tell ya it's not easy to come up with an antidote right away.
